BeesBlock Oil is made a unique blend of Pure Tung Oil, Special Aged Linseed Oil, and Pure Organic Beeswax. This recipe is made without the use of solvents, GMO ingredients, toxic heavy metal dryers, chemical processing, petroleum distillates or bleaching. This product is biodegradable, non-ozone depleting and safe for the people applying it and for those living with this in their homes. Not made with or tested on animals. It’s easy to use and moisturizes and nourishes the wood for a rich, matte luster, offering deep protection on your wood products.

How to Use: Shake well before using. Apply oil, rubbing in with a clean cotton or other natural cloth. Let sit and allow oil to penetrate for 10 min, then wipe off excess. Add a second coat if desired and re-apply as you see the wood drying out. Food safe once dry. We have three convenient sizes, packaged in a 4oz. glass bottle, lined metal quart paint can or a 1 gallon solvent-style can with child proof lid, for the best long term storage. A little goes a long way, so 4 oz. will last for several applications on a typical cutting board. For larger projects you can thin with our Pure Citrus Solvent for quicker and deeper penetration into the wood and faster drying.

Did you notice we are NOT using mineral oil, like similar products on the market? Here’s why we don’t recommend mineral oil. Mineral oil is a petroleum-based product and we’d love to not have petroleum based products on our own food surfaces or our skin. And as a wood treatment, mineral oil actually doesn’t do much for the wood but add a little moisture resistance and make the grain look nice. We use natural, safe oils that soak deep into the wood and actually harden with their natural drying process which preserves your wood longer, while making it tougher, more water resistant and looking rich and amazing. Our BeesBlock oil will last longer and take much better care of your wood for the long run.
